What we collect

When you use the contact form, we may receive your name, business name, email, phone, city, trade, website URL, and the notes you type. When you submit the project cart on the pricing page, we also receive the items and totals you selected, plus name, email, phone, business name, and notes. Email you send to us is stored in our inboxes.

How forms are processed

Contact and cart forms are processed by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which delivers the submission to our email. Cart orders on the pricing page go to the developer email (porchlightdesk@gmail.com) so we can follow up on scope and payment. When the site is hosted on Netlify, Netlify Forms may also apply. Both services use their own spam filters. A hidden honeypot field and a short time-gate run in the browser so automated posts are dropped before they hit the inbox. FormSubmit’s privacy practices apply to data it processes on our behalf.

How we use data

We use submissions to reply, quote, deliver work, and keep ordinary business records (invoices, project files, correspondence). Mail is read at hello@porchlightdesk.com and porchlightdesk@gmail.com. Those inboxes are not shared with Death Row Pest Control or Eskimo Brothers Air Conditioning.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade contact data. We do not buy third-party email lists for this brand.

Retention

We keep project and contact records as long as needed for the business relationship, legal, tax, and accounting purposes, then delete or archive them when they are no longer needed.

Cookies

This site currently uses essential cookies or local storage only where needed for basic function (for example, remembering pricing-cart items in your browser). We do not run advertising trackers on this site today. If we add analytics later, we will note it here.

Children’s privacy

This site is aimed at business owners and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child submitted data, email us and we will delete it.

California / CPRA-style rights

If you are a California resident, you may request access to or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions. To exercise those rights, email hello@porchlightdesk.com. We do not sell personal information.
